Sadly, I don't have a picture of the current concentration piece I'm working on. To be honest, I haven't worked on it much, besides a sketch, and I'm already working on the fourth one. I'm trying to get back into it, and get out of this "I'm so uninspired to make something," stage.
My concentration theme is revolved around feathers. I choose this as my theme because feather signify lightweight, fragile, and free spirits. Feather come from nature and are used to create many things. A couple of my ideas for other pieces include dream catchers, headdresses, (Native American culture inspired things), feathers used in fashion as masks, false eyelashes, etc., and birds. I'm going to focus on using bright colors for the most part, using colored pencils in particular.
Thanks for reading! (:

All I Want For Christmas!
The "Top 10 Christmas Presents" every art student should ask for! This is my list, enjoy!
This is a mirror! It'll come in handy when you're doing self portraits, yeeeah.
A Van Gogh "Starry Night" umbrella, just in case you get caught under the rain. Or if you're using watercolors, and it suddenly rains, use this to save your artwork!
Urban Outfitters sell prints from various artists around the world. They also make iPod skins, laptop skins, and iPhone skins of the print. There's a wide variety of them.
Sharpen your Prismacolor Colored Pencils, 2H graphite pencils, and Ebony pencils with a seagull camera.
Nothing says "artist" than a hamburger phone!
Post-it Notes! Like the ones Papa Z listed on his example list, except cooler, because it's in paint brush form!
This is a cool little USB flash drive in the shape of a D SLR camera. This is great to use to transfer your artwork to your computer and what not.
This cute little watercolor travel set is good for on location painting and it comes with a color wheel! The rainbow colors make me happy, doesn't it make you happy? (:
A Fujifilm Instax Wide instant camera. Since Polaroid stopped making instant film and instant cameras (non-digital ones) this is a great alternative! This is great when you need to snapshot of something to sketch later!
Camera lens coffee mugs! Available in Canon or Nikon designs! Every student needs these. I mean, who wouldn't want to look cool drinking beverages out of a camera lens?!
